The shrimp and grits were amazing and the service was very personable.
We went here with all of our family after the wedding! Fantastic!
Sat at the bar for dinner. Had grilled shrimp and blue crab apps. Both were delicious. Broiled scallops, sea bass and Caesar’s salad for dinners. Portions were huge, both were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely come again.
The food was okay, but the service was terrible. The owner (at least I assumed he was) chased me down yelling at me after I went to the car to get my daughters high chair cover. Our waitress was sarcastic and rude, and she thought it was her job to demand my kids say please for things (after they already had) and the food wasn’t worth the terrible service that we received. My family comes every year and we stop at Shagger Jacks at least 2 or 3 times. We had brunch today and it was delicious. A few years ago my in laws celebrated their 50 th anniversary and we had 15 of us there on a Sunday. This year it is just the 2 of us. The service and food are always outstanding and today our server told us she was from Michigan and so are we. Great experience every time.
Our group of 12 sat outside despite only mid-60s temps. The clear plastic wind breaks mode it quite comfortable. Great service and all enjoyed their meals ! We’ll be back.

Stop by every time we are in town. Never had a bad meal. The shrimp and grits were great.
