As someone with several poor past experiences with therapy, I was losing hope that any psychologist was worth struggling through my depression to meet. Dr. Shafer proved me wrong almost immediately. He is intelligent, nonjudgmental, and exceptionally genuine. He truly cares about his patients and is willing to go above and beyond to work with each as an individual. Dr. Shafer loves what he does, and I am very grateful to have his support on my journey.

I never believed therapy can be effective until I met Dr.Shafer. He is a very compassionate and a responsible doctor who keenly listens to his patients. He very quickly understands the plight of his patients and comes with workable solutions which have helped me a great deal. One of the very best therapists and I will be ever greatful to him for the help he rendered through his solutions.

Dr. Schafer is unique in his practice. He brings a Christ centered approach to his practice. He is non judgmental, slow to speak and rarely gives advice. He gives insight from a positive prospective.
