A locally-owned shop providing a wonderful showcase for the exceptional talent of local and international artisans, Shady Lane was founded over 40 years ago by artisans Alice and Rick Deutscher to offer their own creations.

You like myself love attention to detail. Detail is what you'll see alot of in Shady Lanes' products. The quality is top notch as well. Nothing but the best of the best. The prices are great too. I have been going back to them for many years for the treasures I like to give as presants to family and friends!

I love Shady Lane! The store is filled with so much beautiful art for the whole family, jewelry, wood craft, Nicaraguan Art, glass art, etc., Customer service is first class! I am sad to see it go from University Avenue but I am sure that we will all follow them at their new location.
I love this store, and will miss it so much when its gone.. It's within walking distance of my office, and I'm so bummed that Palo Alto is doing this.
