I can not say enough about this shop I took an embroidery class with two Friends and we are having so much fun seeing what we can do with these designs. It is so fun. I have done small Designs on my own but these are amazing and easy!! I can not thank Toni for teaching a class and making me challenge myself and my sewing. Took my machine in for repair. Walked out with a brand new one. ��� yes still getting old one repaired for back up. Great service.
If anyone has a sewing machine that needs repairs or may be in the market for a new one or suppiles , I recommend The Sewing Machine Shop in Walnut Creek They did a great, fast job servicing and repairing my old industrial Consew. Then when I jammed the needle Dan quickly got it fixed for me. The gals who helped me at the front counter were efficient and friendly.

Several years ago, I brought my mother's old Pfaff machine (1950's model) in to see if it could be saved. It had been sitting for several years after my mother passed and was totally frozen up. It was rejuvenated and it still sews like new! Since then I've purchased several different machines from The Sewing Machine Shop and have taken several classes. I'm always pleased with the service from the staff, and Dan and his brother Marty are the best sewing machine repair men ever!
It's really a bummer. Cause I called about getting my machine repaired. I was met on the phone by a pretty grouchy individual who basically told me that it would be costly to repair cause the repair rate is +$100/hour and my older singer wasn't worth it and I would be better off buying a new one. Well, you lost a customer. My husband and his tool box was able to repair my machine in a half hour. My trusty "not worth repairing 25 year old singer" lives on. They got my vintage Bernina 830 humming! I'm pleased with the quality of repairs.
They were in El Sobrante long time ago. I bought my machine from them & had tune up on machine. Good guys!
