My first time and everything was great. The only disappointment is that they were out of the grits with my dish. The whipped mashed potatoes were an excellent substitution. I'll definitely be back.
Impossible to say too many good things about this place! Chef Scott is truly a great cook and person. The bacon-wrapped seared duck breast, double cut bone-in pork chops, and fish specialty were perfectly prepared, beautifully plated, and worthy. Value is not to be matched. If you haven't been - GO! Visiting from out of country and dined with friends. Great food, service was great as well. Music was abbot loud as the restaurant wasn't jammed packed on Mmemorial Weekend Saturday. We all had different meals (chicken, pasta and duck). All left completely satisfied and loved every bite!
My son inlaw paid a fortune to take all his mom's to someplace special for Mothers Day. The server definitely did not want to be there. She displayed a great deal of attitude. But the food wasn't so great either. The sausage was dry and tasteless except for being spiced. The two of the oysters on one meal tasted bad and soupy. The creole seasonong wasn't blended but all in one area of that meal. The environment was cool. I was terribly disappointed in the general experience.
