I used to love Serpas until my recent experience having a birthday dinner there. While I understand the policy to have to cover the cost of people who didn’t attend the event they did NOTHING to try and rectify the situation. When messaged about it the situation they have ignored my attempts to speak with an owner. I would not recommend this place to anyone after what I experienced. RecommendedMuch love to Chef Scott. I have been going to Serpas for over 9 years. The food is still as delicious as it was back then. They have the best mussels in the city. You can drink the broth. I usually soak it in the wonderful bread they give u w the meal. The salmon chips & eggplant hush puppies are also delish. Deserts are off limits for me now but when I do have them, I get the beignets. Amazing.

Yesterday, I visited Serpas restaurant for the first time for a friend’s birthday brunch. Our group ordered several drinks, appetizers, and entrees. I decided on the lemon crab fritters, which came with a sauce and radish slaw as described on the menu. The serving included 3 small balls garnished with radish, sauce, and a grapefruit slice.
