Thank You! My boyfriend died from an overdose 10 days after I came here. Everyone was so supportive and I could see how much they cared. They were there if I needed to talk. I want to thank all of the staff because I could not have gotten through this without them. My whole perspective on life and recovery has changed. I thank God for this place.
Awesome Facility My counselor was awesome. She is straight forward and a very simple person to understand. She held me accountable and didn’t put up with my excuses. I loved having her as my counselor!
Loved it Serenity Acres is a beautiful, well-maintained facility. It is very comfortable and luxurious. The gourmet chef prepares excellent meals and snacks. This all allowed me to focus on my recovery, homework, and relax with the ladies during down time. The extras, including acupuncture, yoga and gym time all facilitated my healthy recovery.
Opening Up The biggest change I have seen in myself is becoming open-minded, honest, and willing. I have become open-minded to people’s suggestions and I have become willing to do them even when I don’t want to. I have become more honest as well as being able to open up and let people into my life. I have become more open-minded to people’s stories and looking for the similarities. Grateful I love this facility. It was always clean and very comfortable. My counselor was very good and easy to relate to and had a lot to teach me. My therapist was good at helping me work with my problems. I also got along with all the guys and staff in the house, which made my time there a lot easier.
Excellent! All in all I thought my experience at Serenity Acres was excellent. From the moment I walked in everyone from the staff to the residents were warm and welcoming. There is always someone to get you where you need to be. My counselors were excellent! It was comforting knowing that most of the employees have at one time been in our shoes. One day at a time Because of Serenity Acres, I am a completely different person. I am the best version of myself. When I got here I was a wreck, regardless of the alcohol. This was the only place that I was able to clear my mind and gain some confidence. Serenity Acres and the people I met here have changed my life.
Life Changing The individual therapy at Serenity Acres was truly outstanding. I felt that both of my therapists were incredibly dedicated to me and my success here and in my future recovery. Saved my life My counselor at Serenity Acres was very knowledgeable and experienced. He explained things and worked at my pace. He was very involved with my family. He made me understand why I need me time. I appreciated his compassion and genuine concern that he had for me. I am lucky to have had his as my counselor!
