I really like this braiding shop however the only problem I have is the HOURS of unnecessary waiting that I had to do each time I have been here. I have only been twice. I suggest not having the owner braid your hair because she will stop in the middle of braiding your hair at numerous random times to do other things. The last time I went I purposely scheduled the earliest appt (9am) and was there for 10 HOURS! The owner was also the only one braiding my hair for a few hours which was also a disappointment. Neither experienc... read more

I've been a client for over 10 years.. The women at Senegaleese are professional, friendly and thorough. I've recommended over 50 people over the years. And I always get tons of compliments. Not only are they reasonably priced but you are in and out, no unnecessary waiting! I highly recommend Sengaleese.

This is the best African Hair Braiding I've ever been to. I have had many disappointments in the past at other braiding salons. I had a wonderful experience here. Love love my Senegalese twists. I get a lot of compliments. Thanks kadeeja

Maintaining natural hair can be time consuming and challenging, so I was looking for other options other than a sew in or wearing a wig. I'd never had braids before and decided to give it a try. I was extremely nervous because I was not familiar with any shop in the area that could create a nice style that I would love. I started searching the internet and after about two weeks I came across the reviews for Senegalese African Hair Braiding shop. There were more positives than negatives so I decided to give them a call. I spo... read more

I have been going to this shop for almost a year. I have been very pleased with the work, and the work is done in a timely fashion. My braids last a long-time, and I have been able to maintain them for months with good care. I like the ladies Ieisha and Kadija(I am sure I am not spelling their names correctly), and they are always respectful and greet me with a smile. They have upbeat attitudes and work at a great pace, and for me to get long braids and still be done within 4 hours is amazing. I know that everyone's experien... read more

Don't waste your money, your there all day, they leave in the middle of doing your hair. I got twist was there for ten hours got home and looked in the mirror and OMG I wasted 180.00 bucks called them up and the woman was very very rude....will never ever step another foot in that shop!!! And the bathroom is beyond nasty!!!

I've been coming here for over 4 years and this is the only place I'll go for Senegalese twists. The twists are always neat and gorgeous and they last for as long as you take care of them (Mine usually last about a month and half). Definitely worth the price.

I went for zillions.. They do GREAT work.. the braids were small unlike most places where the braids get bigger in the middle.. They were friendly.. I just didnt like that for at least 2 hours 1 person was doing my hair instead of 2.. and it took them like 7 hours.. I was there from like 2 until 9 pm.. Oh yeah they Wavy/Curly hair is good hair.. It dont nap up and it lasts for 2 months..
