OMG!! Love this place. Best Poutine fries ever and the Trailer Park hot dog is the Bomb!!! The Senate burger was fantastic as well!! Wanted so much to try their bread pudding but was too stuffed!! Definitely trying it next time.. might have to start with dessert!
We had dinner there this evening for my (future) sister-in-laws bachelorette party. I had the Trailer Park hotdog with the Duck Fat Fries and OMG! Sooo delicious. I can’t wait to come back and bring the family. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!
From a restaurant with clear HVAC issues, to a lack of blinds to shade customers, my service at the Senate in OTR was less than impressive today. It was close to 85° in the restaurant. My food came out over 10 minutes after everyone else at my table, no apology was given. However the table next to us had the same issue, an apology was given AND additional food was sent out as an apology. The employees were all cordial and kind, just somewhat of a lack in service this evening.
Delicious and eccentric menu. A definite must try on anyone’s list.
