VERY impressed with the service at Senate! They texted us when our table was about ready.. They keep a carafe on your table & constantly refill your glass.. They pour bottled beer into a glass in front of you.. They open the restroom door for you with a flourish.. They're friendly.. AND they box your leftovers! Also were very nice about me leaving to go get my card! The food was great too. Very glad I finally was able to try poutine! Ate dinner here for the 1st time. Certainly won't be the last. The muscles are the best I've ever had. Lobster BLT was delicious and had a trailer park hot dog. Excellent service + cool hipster atmosphere = perfect dinner!

I used to live in Cincinnati and this was one of my favorite places. I am fortunate enough to get back at least once a year and this is one of my must go to restaurants. The poutine is AH-MAZ-ING and you can't go wrong with the Madame Croque. Oh, and the pot stickers...or the dessert pretzel bites!!! Pretty much anything - this is a must try. I always have my kids and it is a bit tight - especially for a two year old - BUT there are always children there during the day and the staff and other guest never seem to mind :)
Our server knew the menu well, very helpful. Food was amazing but the drinks were to die for!
Enormous, tasty, gourmet hot dogs. Incredible duck fat fries. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was comfortable.
