Lazy disrespectful staff members. We have had 2 nurses that are super. I asked a CNA for assistance to turn my mother and she totally ignored me when only two feet away. I am a nurse myself and I have always treated patients and family members with respect and compassion. I don’t appreciate being totally ignored, she could have said in a few minutes or tell someone else. My husband Paul Watkins was sent to select specialty Hospital Jackson from UMMC ICU, the entire staff at this hospital are wonderful. I want to personally thank Sherrylyn the case manager she is absolutely a wonderful and kind person and physical therapists Dewon who worked so patiently with Paul and was so kind to him. Select Specialty in Jackson provides a very clean professional environment. The Doctors,Nurses,Cna, along with the Social Worker. They all show compassion for the patient. I can not name everyone but the Physical Therapist named Dewayne brought a smile today while he was doing his job..
The bottom floor where patients stay is terrible. The doctors that come by once a day won't listen to your worries and are in and out in less than 2 minutes.
I'm doing well at Select!
The staff here is top notch. 👍
I enjoyed my mom's PT, and he helped her with her knee.
