This business should NOT be in business. Care is substandard. As an RN, I worked there and felt that the patients were not given CORRECT and timely care. The MDs did NOT listen to the RNs. I resigned and would NEVER recommend anyone work there and/or place any loved one there in that setting. This place disgusts me and does not provide competent, compassion ate care in a timely manner.

This is the worst excuse for a care facility I have ever heard of. My father was sent there twice. Each time his health declined rapidly. They were incompetent, they could not or would not figure out why he was getting weaker. The second time WE had to call a Real hospital to pull him out, trying to save his life from Select lack of care. He was too weak and we lost him. They main issue was his Gull bladder. ABSOLUTELY THE MOST AWEFUL PLACE !! We think its really a terrible thing that Select feels that no visitation to a Loved One is ever a good idea. But given our experience of the management at Select we are not surprised. Our Beloved Father died yesterday at the ICU in Bergan Mercy Hospital. I am so grateful that this place is closing. Their caseworker (Pat) should retire. Her complete lack of compassion and poor clinical judgement are detrimental to patients. We actually had to hire an outside advocate for placement because she wouldn't even share the names of the facilities she was referring him to. Hopefully her "38 years" as an RN are at an end. RecommendedThe special attention and care given to both my wife and I, since we both became patients within a two month period. She for surgery rehab., I for COVID 19 rehab. In both of our cases, this staff was short of perfect., from Security staff to Techs, to Nurses, to Doctors, Very, very special people.a very high 5 STAR rating without a doubt.
