My father was at the West Orange location (Kessler Rehab, Inpatient). He started showing signs of stroking so we asked the nurses for help. They called the doctor; she didn't come. We kept asking and she didn't come for 7 hours (Dr. Radhika Bapineedu). This could have been avoided if she had just come when we called. So sad...but then I find out this is not the first time something like this has happened at Select Medical Hospitals. RecommendedWe had a wonderful experience at Select Medical in Greensboro, NC. Words cannot express how blessed we were to have chosen the services of Select Medical. Staff were caring and professional, and my husband went from a poor prognosis to a rehab facility in 2 short weeks. Be aware of what is going on and dont let your Vigilance down on your loved one. The caregivers were good but some along with nurses still need more training. Example what I mean, before you leave a patient room room step back and look everything over, that may stop a disaster from happening. This lack of being untrained caused my love one to fall out of bed and fracture 12 vertebrae and the left and right pelvis. Find a doctor that's not so full of himself that he can correctly complete a death certificate. I was told by my lawyer to contact an ombudsman.
