Came highly recommended and even though I have lived and worked in Raleigh for over 25 years, I had never been. That is going to change. The foie gras special was amazing and the chocolate souffle was the best dessert I have had in a very long time.
Was absolutely amazing this was my first time eating at a 4 diamond restaurant and I was very pleased and the customized menu header for our honeymoon was a very nice and unexpected surprise. Beautiful decor great staff and one mighty fine steak. If I get the chance to come back to Raleigh I will definitely be trying to stop by
Food was great. A wonderful way to experience some new flavors. Service was nearly impeccable, though we did feel a little rushed, but not too much. Will definitely return.
My Boyfriend and I ate there last night for the first time for 5 year Anniversary and it was such a wonderful experience. Everyone was so welcoming and nice and really appreciated us coming there to celebrate something special! They even gave us a signed personalized menu. Thought that was awesome! Our waitress was great and very knowledgeable. Food was so so good!!

Took my wife here for her birthday for an “elegant” evening. The bar had been set by restaurant experiences in Paris. Second Empire did not disappoint us at all. Food was excellent as were the servers. One note about service, if you expect “in and out” go someplace else. The pace here is deliberately slower and set by the diner. Very much a European style of dining. Food is very American in origin, but prepared with flavor in mind. No salt nor pepper shakers, not needed.
