We went last night for an early Valentines dinner. We got the Shrimp & Grits on the appetizer menu and split it......it was too salty. For dinner I got the scallops, they were too salty. My husband got the trout, and he said it was also too salty. For dessert, we split the chocolate cheesecake, it was okay. Best thing I had there was a glass of Cabernet wine.

Very close quarters and very quiet, so don't go expecting to carry on a conversation without the others guests listening in. Food was good, but not excellent. A bit overpriced for the quality.
5* is understatement. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience and dinner at Second Empire with friends. I recommend this classy restaurant to anyone who appreciates fine food and dining. The staff and servers were very friendly and knowledgeable on the dishes. The ambience was great and I hope to visit again.
We were seated promptly at our reservation time and the drinks we had while waiting were delicious...PEAR MULE 🤤 Everyone really went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday celebration special! We had great servers/service and the food was excellent so we will be returning!
