Dr. Seckler has been my doctor for many years and consider myself so fortunate to be under the care of such a caring --warm--understanding and proficient cardiologist! The moment my wife and I and our 24 year old son walked into Dr. Seckler's office, we were greeted by Lucy the receptionist with a genuine concern for our visit. She was very considerate and very pleasant on the phone prior to the Doctor visit. We were then introduced to Dr. Seckler's nurse assistant, Dana. She was extremely professional when taking our son's vitals and EKG....she explained that the Doctor was going to review previous records from the Hospital and she provided the most accurate information about the exam that was to follow. Dr. Seckler entered the patient room and he proceeded to ask questions and after receiving each answer, he took his time to have a very sincere and professional conversation about the previous diagnosis and the additional tests and steps that were to follow in the next couple of weeks. We are Blessed to have Doctor Seckler taking care and watching over our son and knowing that he is the one reviewing future tests. Dr. S. & Staff were excellent!

Starting with Lucy- check in, Annie who took vitals and Bobby at the check out the support staff went out of their way to make my husband feel comfortable and ease his nerves as it’s not easy being in a Drs office.
As for Dr. Jonathan Seckler we feel lucky and fortunate to have found him.
He explained everything with compassion and put us at ease.
We are thankful that we found him and his practice. I can breathe easy knowing that my husband is in good hands.

After waiting several weeks for my appointment the office called to reschedule my appointment on the day of. They said they had to cancel last minute due to overbooking the doctor. They then tried to give me a appointment for another two months later. They did not demonstrate any empathy for my situation and showed no urgency towards my case. Having no problem rescheduling me due to their mistakes. I do not recommend going to see a cardiologist at a place that does not truly care about your well-being. The receptionist was extremely rude and hung up on me several times.
I will not be seeing them in the future.

I am from Boston and I have been going to top notch doctors for most of my life. I have been a snow bird in Florida for the past 10 years. Now I am a full time resident. I have not been too impressed with some of the Doctors that I have seen here in Florida. But, Dr. Seckler changed my impression of health care in Florida. Dr. Seckler took his time with me. He asked me all types of questions and answered all of my concerns. Most Doctors rush you. Dr. Seckler did not. From the moment that I walked in, I was greeted cheerfully by his staff and they made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Seckler wanted me to have a few tests. His office staff made scheduling them very easy. I feel extremely confident in recommending Dr. Jonathan Seckler and his staff. They made feel like I am part of the family.

Doctor has great empathy and skills. But his office is a disaster. When you phone for something, every extension is busy and they tell you to call back later - no option for leaving a message. I need a doctor I can talk to within 24 hours, so I've left his practice. I recently had several small strokes and Dr. Seckler is (was) my cardiologist. He didn't visit me in the hospital, and my internist, after much effort, was able to speak with him. His office gatekeepers have been instructed to keep patients away from the doctor except to schedule office visits and procedures.

Although Dr Seckler is a superb cardiologist it is impossible to see him or speak to him when needed . He is truly too busy to care about his patients. When I had a serious issue I begged to see him and was relegated to a nurse practitioner who was unable to help. When I thought I had a scheduled appointment, I arrived and was told I was mistaken that it was with the NP. His assistant never returns calls and his office staff is rude. When another physician required me to discontinue my blood thinner for a procedure I asked his nurse to call Dr Seckler for permission and was told “you better call as that office doesn’t return calls” The practice leaves a lot to be desired.
