Outstanding cardiologist period. Erica is wonderful NOW in regards to the receptionist...in all my days I have never encountered such a rude, disrespectful. angry, mean, unempathetic woman(receptionist) Can not understand why a Dr with a great reputation would hire such a miserable person....though I do understand it's hard to get quality help these days and for some crazy reason she's been there for 12 years. Thank God for Erica! If anyone shares this issue please just ask for Erica.
A patient of Dr Seckler for a number of years. As far as Dr Seckler, he is a great cardiologist and we trust his knowledge and expertise... but he needs to look at who he hires for staff. His Admin Assistant never picks up phone at any time of day messages go into her vmail - returned calls rarely happen the same day. She is rude and totally unprofessional. Case in point, Doc put me on new meds with a f/u w/ his PA 30 days out to see if we continue the new meds. PA indicated it was advised a while longer. I told her to submi... read more
Most probably one of the BEST doc visits I have ever had!!! I came in so anxious.... and left relieved! Obviously your credentials are superlative but even more impressive...you made me feel like I was your only patient! You are so genuine, personable and thorough and soooo easy to talk to. I was referred to Dr. Seckler so I did research, comparisons to others and read the reviews. I found the reviews mostly positive so I expected my appointment to be a good experience. My expectation of "good" was way below reality. Dr. Seckler's staff was incredibly accommodating, from my initial phone call to schedule the appointment to the follow up call from the staff to offer me an appointment sooner than originally scheduled due to a cancelled appointment. Dr. Seckler explained my test results more fully and more clearly than either of the two doctors I had seen up north. Dr. Seckler saved me from an unnecessary trip to the hospital. This is in contrast to the medical assistant to Dr. Servoss of Boca Raton, Lori or Laurie, who told me to just go to the hospital and have an anesthetized heart procedure like the New York doctor said I should. Brought my mom to see Dr Seckler for some heart issues. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Dr Seckler was very thorough and explained everything in great detail in terms we all could understand. Very engaging . I’ve been to numerous docs since we’ve been in South Florida… Dr Seckler is my favorite! Very competent, great manner with patients! Highly recommend !
The office manager is rude & unprofessional! She is not accomodating to patients that work and does not follow what the doctor says to do. Dr. Seckler is great but really needs to comsider replacing his office manager with someone more professional and capable.
Dr. Seckler listened to my issues, explained the tests to be performed, explained the test results, and explained the suggested treatment. All of this was done in a professional and courteous manner. He understood my concerns about my problem and took the time to try to put me at ease. The members of his staff are excellent. They are professional and very supportive.
