Our ice cream company was started in 1984. The first location to open was in the Riverplace development and was named Fratelli, meaning brothers in Italian. The three brothers; Tim, Todd and Michael, were among the first to bring a super premium locally made ice cream to Minneapolis. The ice cream was, and still is, made in small batches to provide for the freshest product. Sebastian Joe's.... – well.. i live in minneapolis actually about 2 miles away from sebastian joes. i found out about them when i saw that they were the #1 ice cream spot in the twin cities. they didnt let me down at all. the ice cream is great(the flavors change slightly every day). there is a line every time i go there, no matter what day or time, but for some reason they seem to have great service that moves you along pretty well. the neighboorhood and the entire feeling you get when your there is really great. one con, i... read more
The Stuff Dreams are Made of – I do not live in Minneapolis, but have been exposed to Sebastian Joe's during my last two visits. This is some of the very best ice cream I have ever consumed, and I've traveled all over the world. The mocha mint and caffe latte are outstanding. It's expensive, but,as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't think of visiting Minneapolis without a visit to Sebastian Joe's.
SEBASTIAN JOES ROCKS! – This is DEFINATELY the BEST ice cream on the planet! I bring ALL of my friends because it is so good! It is such a cute place and a great atmosphere! Every one should try it!

better than california's – I no longer live in Minneapolis, but when I did, going for a walk in my neighborhood usually included a stop at Sebastian Joe's for a cup of Pavarotti. It is the absolute best of any ice cream flavor I have ever had, and I'm not ashamed to say I eat my share of ice cream. Although not as much now that I live in California and I can't take a walk to Seastian Joes. If you live anywhere in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disapointed...just make sure you hit the gym afterwards.
Puts the Cafe' in Ice Cream Cafe' – I don't know what my title means... but I think it means that SEBASTIAN JOE'S RULES! ...at least, that's what I THINK it's supposed to mean. Anyways, I went to Sebastian Joe's Ice Cream Cafe' on a trip to the cities to do service project. It felt great to get into the nice, cooled building and have the creamy ice cream... aaaawwww, now I want some more Sebastian Joe's. I will for sure the next time I get in the cities.
Best Oreo Ice Cream Ever! – I have searched far and wide for anything to compare to Sebatian Joe's Oreo Cookie Ice Cream. Alas, I have come up empty. It's so full of Oreo's the ice cream is almost a gray color and the chunks of Oreos are big enough for you to actually enjoy more than just a teasing crumb. If they would put a franchise in Madison, WI I would be there every day.

Double Scoop Please – Always get double scoop if you can at Joe's. Their ice creams are fantastic. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is friendly.
