We hired Steve to remove our popcorn ceiling and replace 3 walls of paneling with sheet rock, including framing in 2 inset boxes for a TV and equipment. This all included texturing, priming and painting these areas as well. Steve completed the work on time and to our satisfaction at a reasonable charge. I used Steve of SDW Contracting for acoustic ceiling texture removal, the application of new up-to-date ceiling texture and painting. In a time where is seems all to common for people to over promise and under deliver, Steve did a fantastic job at a fair price while meeting my time constraints. Steve was a pleasure to work with and I'm sure I will use him again.

Steve was prompt, courteous, thorough, exacting, efficient, wonderfully knowledgable and willing to share his knowledge to the degree to which you, as the customer, feel comfortable. If that sounds like a mouthful, it really isn't. I hired SDW just to remove and replace about 400 sq ft of ceiling tile in a remodel of a living room and dining room. Steve's priority is customer satisfaction. He was clear when he made his recommendation on paint quality and it was reflected in the final outcome of my painting project. He also came in on schedule desptie spotty weather due to his expeditious execution whenever there was a break in the weather. Despite all this, his bid was reasonable and we did not have any problems.

I would give Steve and his crew 10 stars if I could! They were great - on time, very fairly priced, knowledgeable, and most importantly ? my wife and I could not be happier with the results. I had SDW Contracting remove my popcorn acoustic ceiling, refinish the drywall joints in the ceiling, re-texture, prime and paint. Steve Wood was great to work with. He's enthusiastic, has a critical eye, and has attention to detail. His price was reasonable, and he finished ahead of schedule (this was good because I needed to move in! :) ). And most importantly, my ceiling looks great! He's a general contractor, and has ~20 years of experience, so I would gladly bring him back to do other projects for me as well.
