Steve was very responsive, professional, skilled and a great guy to work with on the project. His costs were lower than the competitor. Steve removed over 700 square feet of popcorn ceiling. Luckily the ceilings were in good shape, and needed minimal fixes prior to priming and painting, which he also completed. I had SDW remove the popcorn. Steve was easy to work with and did an excellent job. I plan on having him do the ceiling finish work and walls prior to installing new kitchen cabinets and after exterior wall insulation.

SDW Contracting, (Steve), did a beautiful job transforming our home into the current millennium! The ceilings look amazing--better than I'd imagined or hoped. He was very quick to respond to calls, emails, etc., offered a fair price, removed an entire house of popcorn ahead of schedule, kept everything clean and orderly, and left us with a beautiful ceiling. We absolutely love it! I highly recommend giving him a call if you're thinking about having this work done. I'm so glad I did!

Steve is a ceiling god! He removed our asbestos popcorn ceiling, prime, texture, and paint too. He worked long hours just to finish the job right. He works all day, all night. When we saw the finished product, I almost fainted! My husband and I could not believe he finished it all in 3 days. All by himself! He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Definitely recommending him to friends and family!

We contacted Steve panicked on a Saturday morning after the popcorn ceilings tested positive for asbestos in the home we were about to close on. We were moving in 15 days. Knowing the permit process, Steve ordered the 10 day permit immediately. He was so flexible with us and responsive to our short timeline. Steve offers a full service popcorn ceiling, drywall taping, priming, re-texturing, and painting package. The price was competitive with the other contractors we contacted and received estimates from. We decided against the painting portion because we had just moved into the home and had not decided on any paint colors yet. We hired Steve and SDW Contracting last Spring to remove our popcorn ceilings which had tested positive for asbestos. Steve was very professional and despite some unexpected trouble spots in our ceiling, the work was finished on time and on budget - and the ceilings look great. We were very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend SDW.
