“Nothing more we can do” was the energy of this doctor and his staff after ORIF resulted in internal infection we battled for months with 2 rounds of oral and 2 rounds of IV antibiotics and additional surgeries to remove hardware. Bedside manner to his geriatric patient was beyond lacking, very dismissive, lacked urgency when concern for signs of potential infection were initially brought up, and left us feeling completely hopeless with 0% use of this arm. Doctor Putney is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He sorted my carpal tunnel on both hands with zero need for any rehab. Minimal pain and excellent follow up with his support staff. Although my insurance (UHC) dropped his practice from their network, they worked with me to make the second hand’s surgery possible for a very reasonable fee. I wholeheartedly recommend him. 10/10, prompt, and professional care following my husbands hand injury. His staff runs a tight ship and truly wouldn't trust his care with anyone else. His nurse Liz is amazing amd so full of knowledge!
Dr. Putney explained clearly what the issue was for my thumb that put me at ease. Taking the time to explain in a way that I understood made me feel confident that I was in good hands. My recovery has been great and I would highly recommend Dr Putney!!!
