A friend and another doctor recommend Dr. Monnin. I was not disappointed. He put all my worries to rest and treated me in a kind, professional, knowledgeable way. I really appreciated the speed (under 5 minutes!) in which I was taken in from the waiting room and seen in the patient's room, and I was a new patient!
Very impressed with Dr. Monnin. I had been to a different cardiologist that the ER sent me to. Even with a previous history of a severe blockage and stent, the previous doctor showed no sense of urgency. I had a stress test that was inconclusive, so he did nothing despite my symptoms. Dr. Monnin listened to me, set up a heart cath where another 90% blockage was discovered and a stent was ordered. I don't think I would have made it back to the follow-up to the first Dr. Thank you Dr. Monnin!
I highly recommend Dr. Monnin for anyone seeking a caring and dependable Cardiologist. The very best Doctor of any kind that i have seen. Love all the staff at Bluegrass Cardiology. They always contact me with appointment reminders and never fail to help every time I have called with a question or concern. Friendly service like no other. I had triple by-pass surgery 3 years ago and Dr. Monnin has been so caring and devoted to helping me with any concerns I have. They are simple the BEST...
i find Dr. Monnin to be very helpful by explaining to me how what i can do to improve my health, by walking, the importance of it. he always patiently answers my questions. He keeps me informed of my condition, whether it is improving or not. I feel he is the the best doctor i have ever had. I feel he truly cares about his patients. He is not judgemental. All in all , he is an excellent doctor and i would not have improved to where i am now without him.
I've utilized the offices of Bluegrass Cardiology for difficulties I've had as a result of the lack of proper care given by another office. The care I've received from there medical team literally saved my life. We all want someone who will LISTEN, understand and explain clearly what's happening to us. Dr. Monnin calmly helped me using his gentle manner and clear guidance. I HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone who needs a caring, intelligent, first rate doctor!

Dr. Monnin is great. He listens and he is patient. If he doesn't think you need a particular test, he will tell you. Honest is the best word I can describe. I appreciate his concern and care.
