I'd like to thank very much Dr. Toomey and his staff for their friendly professionalism, and their genuine caring. This was my second hip replacement. All is better than well. So, if you have a question about how you're walking, if you're not as confident of standing alone, perhaps you are thinking, because of pain, you might need a hip or a knee. You need to talk to Dr. Toomey. Everything is right there at OPA-Swedish

Knee surgery went well.
Dr. Hormel performed repaired a torn meniscus for me in 2014 and the experience was so great that I returned to him for a 2025 total knee replacement, with another scheduled for later the same year. He and his staff have been wonderful, have answered every question in depth, have demonstrated true caring for my recovery, and so on. I could not have asked for a better experience, hence my desire to return for more. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking care.
Dr. Hormel did an amazing job to answer all of my pre-op questions and worries about a meniscus and ACL injury. He explains concepts well and thoroughly. He is confident and direct which reassured me of all my concerns before surgery. I am looking forward to getting surgery and would strongly recommend Dr. Hormel for any knee injuries.

The doctor was ready to get a new xray for an issue that we had already discussed via email which he had already confirmed from a previous xray. He also feels like he is in a rush to get through the appointment as quickly as possible.
