Dr. Scott Hallgren was kind and professional. He systematically took several tests to find out root cause for my condition and to treat it. I would recommend Dr. Hallgren to anyone seeking a skillful and professional gastroenterologist.
I couldn’t even get an appointment because they don’t want to take you as a patient if you’ve seen someone else. Didn’t really bother to ask why you needed to be seen just said he does not do second opinions. My doctor referred me to him.
After my procedure, Dr. Hallgren was very rude to me. I have never been spoken to like that by a physician before. I would never recommend him to friends and family.
Dr. Hallgren has been my trusted dr for several yrs He is always thorough and gives excellent information regarding meds and diet He has always answered my questions and concerns with knowledge and honesty It also helps that his staff is competent and the front desk helpful

I got told not only should I not make an appointment unless I know for sure I can make it a month out but that I shouldn't even bother trying to get into any gastroenterologist without the same amount of time frame. Clearly my health problems aren't worth addressing. I really don't think a person could be more cold or uncaring.
I am blessed (& relieved) to have Dr. Hallgren as a gastroenterologist. He is very thorough, he listens & responds accordingly. Highly Professional. Good office staff. Printed instructions & email instructions concise. Very quick response through Portal.
This is the doctor you want to see. Professional yet kind. His staff and nurses are great too. Dr even called me himself the next day with biopsy report. How often does that happen? I will definitely use him again.
