I am very happy with Dr McDowell and his staff. They are very knowledgeable and keep me updated on everything. He has consistently shown a caring and knowledgeable attitude.

My husband, Carl, is a kidney transplant patient who sees Dr. McDowall regularly for post-transplant care. As an AD-PKD patient for decades, Carl had seen nephrologists in St. Augustine, but neither had any real interest or commitment to his disease or him. I sent Carl to UF Shands, Gainesville, for PKD care. After seven years they put him on the transplant list and miraculously, three years later, he had a match. We would like to thank Jessica and Amber for their compassion and time. We were there when the office was basically closed on Good Friday. Those two women were unbelievably kind, patient and oh so helpful. They helped not only with the medical situation at hand but were comforting and helped with my stress level. I am forever grateful for their kindness.
