Waited over an hour, they obviously way over book patients. I was in extreme pain and was never checked in on during the wait. Find somewhere else to go.
Dr. Bornstein performed multifocal cataract surgery on my mom and she had a great experience. Highly recommended.
I was a new patient of Dr Bornstein's. He discovered a tear in my retina. I was leaving the next morning for a month long trip and he went above and beyond to get the tear repaired that night. He drove to Northshore Hospital from Highland Park and completely accomodated my schedule. I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. When you treat patients the way Dr. Bornstein treated me, you have a patient for life. I have recommended him to many of my friends. Thank you Dr. Bornstein
I've been seeing Dr Bornstein for many years and have always been very happy with him. He's very professional and I trust him 100%. He's helped with problems I've had with my eyes over the years and has gotten me in on very short notice when I really needed to see him for a retinal tear. I highly recommend him.
Doctor Bornstein is very thorough, explains all tests and took the time to answer all of my questions
No bedside manner. He never says hello or listens when you ask a question. He interrupts as if he knows what you’re going to say. He talks too fast and gets frustrated when you ask him to repeat. He makes me feel like I’m a nuisance for asking so many questions. The long wait is awful. Each appt takes about 2 1/2 hrs. (No excuses or apologies given.) You keep getting moved from exam room to room to waiting room back to exam room. He may have a good medical reputation but poor people skills.
Exceedingly long wait times and a physician with little polish and poor patient relationships.
The first 3 times I had to wait over an hr to be seen. There were no apologies for the wait, not even an acknowledgement. The 4th time I came in for a 9 am appt, I just left at 9:45 because the doctor hasn't even come in for the day and there were 2 other pts also waiting to be seen. If he was a genius or even courteous, maybe it would have been worth the wait. However, he is rude and abrupt and with all the choices out there why choose him? They also grossly overcharge for glasses and contacts
Not recommended to go to this practice. I spent 2 hrs and 10 minutes for an appointment. Worst Doctor office I've been too. This is the first time I've had a super long wait. I initially waited for 45 minutes to be brought in the room.the technician did the initial tests.Then they put the drop for my eyes.They let me wait in the waiting room for 45 minutes.Then I was brought in the exam room and waited for another 30 minutes. Dr finally sees me for just 10 minutes.
