I had an infection and Dr. Bornstein told me to come and he would fit me in after his scheduled patients. I was so grateful! I haven’t had a doctor try to fit me in for years. They refuse to stay after their regular office hours. They also don’t care whether anyone sees me. Dr. Bornstein was so kind, thoroughly examined my eye, set a treatment plan and gave me next steps. Started going to Dr. Bornstein when I moved to Highland Park. He is friendly very competent and conservative. He did my cataract surgery in both eyes in February 2022. I couldn't be happier with the results . I recommend him to everyone !!

Dr. Bornstein is both very talented and driven to patient care excellence. Upon diagnosing a torn retina, he prioritized emergency treatment immediately. He performed the laser surgery/repair procedure well past their normal office hours, completing my treatment late Friday night. Dr. Bornstein's immediate attention helped me heal quickly and resume my normal activities. I would highly recommend Dr. Bornstein for excellent ophthalmology care.
He is always great. Super professional and nice. And he truly once saved my life — saw him for a vision issue which he quickly determined wasn’t an eye problem and reached my internist before I left his office. Several days later I had life-saving surgery to clear a blockage in my carotid artery. Scott is a terrific, talented doctor and a super person. And his office staff is always helpful and awesome!

I have been wearing glasses for about 60 years and contacts for about 40. After having Dr. Bornstein perform implants in both eyes, I can see almost perfectly for the first time in my life. Dr. Bornstein explained the implant process to me, had excellent bedside manners and blessed me with sight I have never experienced before.
