Takes time does not push procedures
My appointment was timely, he explained what my condition was and treated the problem. He was friendly which I appreciate.
I explained to the Dr Schwendeman everything that was going on with my hand and thumb. He let me talk as a physician should. He suggested the treatment that he would like how to start with and asked if I was okay with the plan. Very considerate. Ask me how I felt about it. Definitely wanted my input. A great bedside manner!
Dr. Schwendeman is a good, thorough doctor. He's friendly, down to earth and tries to put the patient at ease. He takes his time and doesn't make you feel rushed.

Dr. Schwendemen is a down to earth guy who communicates clearly and concisely. You can tell that he is a highly qualified and experienced pro.
Dr Schwendeman was attentive and proactive in my care of a fractured distal radius. He recommended an internal fixation to prevent possible mobility problems to my dominant hand. Surgery was seamless and I am now recovering with PT to regain strength and maintain full range of motion.
