Dr Schwendeman is a wonderful doctor and person. He actually takes the time out to listen to you and answer whatever questions you have. Most doctors are rushing out of the room and not taking the time out for you. I have raved about him to everyone I had talked to about my surgery and would refer him to anyone. I'm glad that I have him as my doctor.
Dr S makes you feel very comfortable using humor and personal stories to calm your nerves. He is gentle and friendly and gets right to the point. Definitely recommend!
Thorough examination of problem and explanation of proposed treatment. Caring and professional. Would highly recommend him.
Dr takes time to answer all mine and my husbands questions. He talks to you in normal person language. Not “Dr language “ that you can’t understand. He is great. Still going through recovery.

I’ve gone to Dr. Schwendeman for several years for arthritis in my hand and dream of using anyone else!
I had a great appointment with Dr. Scwendeman. I came in because I had a Ganglion cyst on my wrist that needed drained. I didn't know what to expect, but he walked me through everything, educated me on my wrist, my bones, and the cyst itself, what to expect going forward. He was friendly, personable, and I left feeling good about everything. The staff was very friendly and I was pleasantly surprised with my visit today. Wish there were more doctors like Schwendeman and the staff at Young. Ortho.
