On Monday, during Victoria Day, I visited this place. We didn’t have to wait for a table, but the food took 35 minutes to arrive. I ordered the black ’n blue flapjacks, and they were quite hard, not soft at all. However, they were decent, so I gave them a 6.5/10. My friend ordered the synonym toast, which was incredibly soft and fluffy, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, giving it a 9/10. So many servers at the bar, there was only a few patrons in the restaurant. Already had friends waiting in the back patio but none of the staff would make eye contact or acknowledge i was there. I waited patiently for someone to acknowledge or even say hey we'll be with you in a min but nope, NOBODY made eye contact. We visited on a Friday morning for brunch with friends, expecting a nice and relaxing experience, but unfortunately it turned out to be very disappointing. The staff took our order quickly and the drinks arrived almost immediately, but the food took over an hour to come out, even though the restaurant was not crowded. Had a very disappointing experience. We went on a Friday morning so we thought we would have a faster, more personal experience, which ended up being the opposite. We ordered drinks first, they arrived pretty quick and were good. Once we ordered food we found odd that the waitress didn't write down anything. They asked us again our order to confirm a bit later.
