Fair price, prompt and professional! – Not the first time we have taken my wife's Toyota Paseo here but Chris and the rest of the team at Scholl's Ferry Automotive have always been clear, prompt, professional and fair priced. Wiper motor went out on the car and they gave a very competitive estimate and upon picking up the car last night, let us know that it came in under the estimate. Very pleasant and straight forward to work with and not condescending to women like a lot of repair shops. Highly recomended!
THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!!! :) – The people at Scholls Ferry Automotive are so good at what they do. They were very fairly priced and did a stand up job. They are very respectful and don't talk down to women like I have experienced before. Will be a repeat customer and recommend my friends and family.
Super Sweet Service! – The guys at Scholls Ferry Automotive always take care of my needs! Kris is the best at always making sure that everything is copacetic . Thanks guys!! = )
Check their part prices – I have a 2002 Dodge Caravan. Engine light came on so took it to Scholls Ferry Automotive like I have many times before. Dropped it off night before and they checked it next morning. Said the oxygen sensor before the catalytic converter needed replacing. Asked for price and told sensor would be $145 and labor would be $145. Sensor price sounded high so I called around. Schucks sells a universal sensor for $62. Dodge dealership charges $105. Scholls said sensor is OE (original equipment) thus the pric... read more
Custmer Service – Having trouble communicating about drop off and appointment time. They say one thing and then say another and twist it around making you feel like it's your fault. I have to go back because I purchased prepaid service card, but I'm so frustrated I may just give the card away and go to my old mechanic. I had to cancel my first appointment due to a migraine and I'm having a feeling they may be a little ticked off about it, but that's doesn't show much sympathy for the customer. I'm wondering if they will even... read more
Great service, top notch mechanics! – I've brought both of my vehicles here many times. I've tried other shops in the Portland area but had very bad experiences. One in particular was a bad catalytic converter on my Toyota Corolla. I brought it to a place in downtown Portland because it was close and the AAA tow truck driver recommended it. They replaced my computer and had my car for 10 days. I had to rent a car during the time they had mine. They finally said it was fixed, but I didn't even make it back to my office before... read more
I love these guys - Great Service – My service has always been completed timely and professional. I drive across town to use these guys!!
Be Careful !!! – We delivered a pick-up truck to Scholls Ferry to have the oil changed, the latch to the hood was sticking and we asked them to fix it so it would work. Their solution was to take a crow bar to the hood an bend the sheet metal until they could open the hood. They also stripped the bolts on the drain pan plug and we now need an $800 oil pan as well as a new hood. When I called Chris the manager about it I was told that the technician was told to "do what it takes to get the hood open" and so it was the technic... read more
Friendly Shop – Even though we can go to our auto dealer and get 1/2 price oil changes, we take our Hondas for our regular car maintenance as well as more major repairs. Lube, oil and filter is $30, and they inspect every part of your car and rotate the tires. They are friendly, upfront, honest and work quickly. The only con is the waiting area is so-so, be we live close by so normally just walk back home while our car is there.
