Found An Honest Mechanic! – I've been to my share of bad mechanics to know that I have found an honest and fair shop with Scholls Ferry Automotive. I have referred them to many friends and will continue to do so. Their front office personnel are very helpful and always answer my concerns. Very nice, dependable, real – The guys at Scholls Ferry Automotive, they are fantastic. I take not only my personal cars there but I had my daughter take her car there as well. Kind and competent! – Excellent car care, people concern, priced fair and very timely
Always prompt – These guys are the reason my car is still running! I've been taking my car to Scholl's Ferry Automotive for the past 10 years. They've done everything from tune-ups, to oil changes to replacing fan belts and my catalytic converter. Never had any issues with overpricing and I've always received fantastic customer service. They've always taken the time to answer my questions and I will continue to have my car serviced here. Keep up the good work guys!
These guys are the best, no joke! – I've been to many shops before and I felt like they would always talked down to me like I'm an idiot. Almost burned – I took my older car there (1996 model)) that was running roughly. The mechanic told me that I needed to replace two catalytic converters because they had burned up and gave me a estimate of about $1600. I was disappointed as I thought maybe I could get a few more years from this car for my high school-aged child. I sought a second opinion from a local muffler shop. He initially quoted me $560.00 for the same converter work BUT found the converters to be in perfect order!!!! The second shop made repairs to the... read more
Buyer Beware – This business did not disclose costs fees or agreed upon price of any kind until I stated that I could not have repairs done right away. I was only told of the time it would take to look at my vehicle this did not include price per hour, charges, diagnostic fees nor a request for a signature showing that charges were explained and disclosed prior to any work or estimate of repairs. CAVEAT EMPTOR! Overcharged by 566% – Brought my car in because it was running rough. They hooked it up to their computer and diagnosed the problem to the spark plugs. They quoted me a price of $20 per plug "because they were special platinum plugs" Gave them the okay because I trusted them, I then checked online about 5 minutes later and found them for $3. Called them back to stop the job. By that time they had replaced the first three, but they stopped the job. I will NEVER go back to a place that overcharges 566% for parts... read more
