Schmucker's has been a family-owned and operated Toledo dining tradition since 1948. Originally opened by Harvey and Nola Schmucker, the diner is currently run by the third generation of Schmuckers. Awesome atmosphere, warm welcomes by staff, off the charts tasty food (especially corned beef hash and pies-a-plenty), and super reasonable prices.
Ever since I was a little boy I can always remember coming into Schmuckers and sitting up at the counter and having a meal. The phone booth and the restaurant is has never changed. I am 57 years old now and It has always been my favorite restaurant in Toledo Ohio good food great prices and the best pies. I don’t miss Toledo Ohio but I do miss Schmuckers. Every time I’ve stopped in Doug you are always there. Next time I pass through Toledo I’ll bring my mother there and have dinner. God bless you.
