Thank you for towing cars from Monroe Street in Madison, Friday May 12th, during rush hour in the afternoon. It's long overdue! There are often cars parked there during rush hour. I ride the city bus and it's super frustrating for everyone. I hope to see you there again soon ; )
My daughter was involved in an auto accident last week in which she was T Boned. This resulted in a flat rear tire. The police department called Schmidt Auto to assist my daughter by changing her tire. They took off the damaged tire and replaced it with my daughter's spare tire which happened to be flat and drove away. They charged her 79.00 for placing a flat spare on her car. Mark was very nice and made my valentine's day not as bad by helping me figure out what went wrong with my car.So now I can make the auto shop that I had work done at pay for repairs because it was their fault it broke.The bolt came out of the brake caliper it eventually wasn't tight.
Mark was the consummate professional--arrived quickly, worked quickly and was super friendly--totally turned my bad Monday morning around! Call him for your towing needs--great guy!
I got myself stuck in a ditch on Tues when trying to help someone else who'd gotten stuck. Mark helped out the guy and then took the time to offer his help since he was right there anyway. It saved me at least 2 hrs of waiting for the company my roadside assistance provider lined up. I had called a few other towing companies and all had similar lengthy wait times. I was fortunate he took the time to help out. He was friendly, helpful and patient. I would highly recommend this company and Mark specifically.
There was an accident on my street tonight (Portage Rd) and Schmidt's was the one to tow the vehicle. Well I noticed the guy start to clean up the glass but he only half assed it. There's still a bunch of glass in the road. This is the second time I've noticed Schmidt's not caring to really clean up the glass.
Called today to have somebody change my flat tire. The truck and somebody was there in 10 minutes and I was back on the road in less than a half-hour. Thank you for the great service! Can I choose and post more than 5 stars!?!?
Had to come tow my 07 Pete. The guy that showed up was fast and friendly. Never been towed before in a semi.
