RecommendedI have an RV and was parked in a campground, ran to get a snack and once back, I couldn’t get into my RV main door and didn’t have FOB or keys to open my drivers/passenger door with me. not hit cars legally parked on the side of the road leaving families devastated and without a vehicle. I was legally parked, on a one way residential that's 25mph. my brand new 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback has now been totalled out. leaving me with less than nothing as now I do not have a vehicle to trade in and will have to make another downpayment. They target poor people in the trailer park. I live in a tin can basically. Isn't my life difficult enough? Waited for rent to drop before they sticker vehicles too... Making sure the problem can't be fixed.
Driving a borrowed car with automatic transmission while my broken knee heals. Car died in a super inconvenient no-parking zone during rush hour, and I’m hobbling around, dropping my crutches in the road, trying to raise the hood. Schmidt truck happens to pass by in the opposite direction and driver says he’ll pull me out of the way so I don’t get a ticket. Then when he learns I live nearby he says he’ll just take me home! He has to literally lift me up into the truck and back out. What an angel! Thank you!!!
Wonderful service! 2 hours away from home, transmission troubles and they rescued us, no problem at all! Thanks to the kind woman on the phone and the gentlemen who towed us, looked at the car, and gave us a ride to our location. We could not be more appreciative or grateful! Your kindness does not go unnoticed! People are good!

I have been involved in 6 towed vehicles in the last 12 months. Between friends and family. Schmidt, towed everything and did a great job. Very easy to work with over the phone understood their policy’s clearly. their drivers worked diligently and quick even in poor weather. In fact driver today dropped off the keys for me for following day service appointment. He saved me a trip. Super nice guy. Made my night. They are the towing company of Madison.
Unfortunately I have gotten to know Schmidt’s pretty well over the years... Plowing snow and pulling trailers all day sure takes a beating on my trucks. I wouldn’t want anyone else to tow my vehicles. Thanks again for the quick response time(s) and knowledgeable staff.
This company's receptionist was very rude! The woman who answered the phone had a very nasty tone in her voice. It appeared she did not want to talk in a civilized manner. I asked her why she was mad at me for calling for a tow. She replied, I AM NOT MAD! I have a lot of people waiting! Well, I am sorry that she is stressed by a lot of people needing help, but then don't work in a service industry. The driver was fine! Setting up the tow was the real problem!
