RecommendedThey are amazing. We moved here after a bad experience at another vet clinic in town and they immediately took care of the problem at hand. I then had other pets re-checked by the doctors at Brykerwood for good measure. They are now our vet as long as we live in Austin. They were also amazing when I had to say goodbye to a pet - caring and gave us plenty of time. 5 stars. Highly recommend.
We took our dog to Brykerwood for the two years we lived in Austin - by far the best clinic I've ever worked with. Dr. Heideman was our regular vet and I can't recommend her enough, although over the years for urgent appointments we saw pretty much every vet on staff and they were all great. Dr. Heideman took the time to get to know my dog that is very fearful of the vet, by the end of our visits with them he hardly needed to be muzzled at all and would be super happy to see her come in the exam room. I recently switched from a big box store Vet. I can’t tell you how pleased I am that I did. Dr. Jackson was amazing with both dogs. He didn’t suggest a bunch of other test for my Yorkie that has PSS. Definitely wouldn’t want anyone else treating my girls after my experience here.
You’re wasting your time with any OTHER clinic. BRYKERWOOD IS THE BEST! They are solid legit, brilliant, caring, above and beyond. Recently, I came in with a sick dog, only to discover she was dying, literally, as I spoke. Dr. Walker could not have been more honest and both compassionate about her condition, showing charts of her blood work, and the humanity to put her to sleep sooner than later because she was in pain. Brykerwood Vet has been our family Vet Clinic for 30 years. Our furry family has come and gone and come again, and brykerwood vet is always there. I completely trust them 100%! And they are always enamored by my furry babies.
I couldn't recommend Brykerwood more. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and kind. There is noone in Austin I trust more with my dogs - as well as my clients'. All the vets are fabulous - I've primarily seen Drs Heideman and Biehle for my personal dogs.
My dog is the love of my life, and when I was looking for a vet - choosing Brykerwood was a no brainer! Dr. Mike Walker is so caring & personable - every animal that walks through his door is going to be a priority. 10/10 recommend!
