I came to Dr. Schlesinger is severe pain in my upper right back, radiating down my right arm and hand. I had no strength in my right arm and hand. Dr. schlesinger performed ACDF surgery the next day and was very intelligent, professional, and kind. It is now 3 months post surgery and I have no more symptoms and all strength has returned to my hand. - Amy W.
Awesome focus on patient diagnosis, symptoms and treatments. Dr. Schlesinger took every effort outside of surgery to alter my symptoms before recommending surgery. His talent was way above my experience with any other doctor or surgeon. His staff is warm and very helpful and served not only as my medical treatment helpers but as coaches throughout the process. Finally get into this Dr because he's suppose to be a neurosurgeon but it turned out to be he's only in it for the money! I have symptoms beyond just a shot of cortisone and had hoped he would help with this but after sitting in an ice cold room for over and hour he tells me he doesn't do anything but the neck/spine (as in cattle thru people)...my symptoms are all relative but he only wants to give a shot to the neck! It sounds as though this person had to wait for an appointment, which I know is very frustrating. I have been very pleased with my care at Legacy. Any questions that I've had have always been answered. All staff have great attitudes and always make me comfortable.
I would recommend Dr. Schlesinger to anyone. He is a very good doctoramd his staff is wonderful!
Great communication, staff (so helpful), and hospital care. Dr. Schlesinger did a great job. I am so happy he took the initiative to do the procedure. Dr. Schlesinger brought his A game.
