I have spinal stenosis. The pain in my right leg gradually got worse extending from my hip to my foot. I got to where I couldn’t walk any distance at all. I got an appt. with Dr. Schlesinger and he started me with epidurals (serious of 3) to see if that would help my pain. They didn’t, so he did surgery. It is minimally invasive. I came in with multiple problems. I had bilateral carpal tunnel plus multi-level back injury and degeneration. The doctor spent time with me and discussed back problem. Together we decided to on what to address in what order. I had surgery on both hands to begin with. Each was a day surgery procedure. The staff was very friendly, caring, knowledgeable and efficient. I live in Abu Dhabi, UAE and was suffering severe pain on my right side lower back, hip and leg. I also had numbness and tingling in left upper thigh with walking. I was seen by a Neurosurgeon at Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi and was told I need fusion surgery L5/S1.
