Care is professional and minimally invasive. Dr. schlesinger was not reluctant to give me the treatment (surgery) that I was seeking. Staff was friendly and answered all of my questions as well as addressed my concerns. Surgery was highly successful and worthwhile - Tom S.

You are very caring and concerned about the well-being of the patient, this makes a person feel like they really count. Dr. schlesinger has given me back the ability to do stuff. Thank you so much! -Cindy Collins

Everything was broken down and explained several times so I would know what to expect. The surgery was so fast I don't remember a thing LOL. I am very satisfied with everything and the results. THANKS A MILLION - Rodney "Rodnae" Young

I am so glad I came to see Dr. Schlesinger with my back and leg pain! I was under so much pain and stress that my hair was falling out in clumps, but since my back surgery I have no pain and my hair is growing back! NO MORE STRESS. NO PAIN. - Sherry Monk

I went to him for a 2nd opinion-he threw hands up and said I did not need surgery. Went to another dr. and I had severe cervical stenosis. I went back 9 mos. later and my film was still in the floor of his office. A friend had outpatient cervical surgery by him and he nicked her esophagus. Instead of an overnight stay, she was in serious condition for 7 wks in the hospital! I would NEVER use him for anything!

Business response:

This post raises several issues that I am happy to have the opportunity to address. We certainly agree with the wisdom of seeking second (and if needed, additional) opinions regarding complex medical issues. This is especially true whenever someone is considering whether to undergo surgery as the possible next step in treatment. I cannot determine from this post why this person went to another physician -- but then returned to see me 9 months later. While I sincerely appreciate this person returning to me for additional cons... read more

Had an MRI. Was given ear plugs that failed to block out deafening noise. Afterwards, the technician hesitated to assist me up from table. I literally had to ASK for a hand up. Very unsympathetic.

Explaination of my condition was well explained. Very clear explanation of procedure and expected outcome. Procedure went very well. Post- op instructions were very successful-Fred Strickland

Prior to surgery I could only stand up for approximately 5 minutes & only walk a city block. Both legs and feet would become numb & weak. Now, 6 weeks past surgery I can stand up for 30 minutes and walk a half mile with no pain or weakness & no pain meds! I recommended Dr. Schlesinger to several of my friends and family. -Jeary
