RecommendedWe LOVE Dr. Schaefer and the entire staff at First Choice Pediatrics! I have been taking all 3 of my kids to First Choice for years! EVERYONE in the office is soo friendly and understanding/comforting when you are stressed over your sick/hurt babies. I know no matter what we might be in the office for, my babies are ALWAYS in the best hands! 5 stars ++ for sure!!!!
We have been coming to First Choice since my twins were born 5 years ago and have since added another one! We love the staff, we have always been taken care of, and they always answer any questions we have ever had. It takes a lot to find an amazing Dr.s office for yourself but equally as hard, if not harder, to find the quality care for your children, this is why we drive from Norman to Edmond for our girls!
I LOVE First Choice!! Dr. Schaefer & her staff are THE BEST! We have been with them for just over 11 years & I recommend her all the time. She is so friendly & down to earth. I feel like she really listens to my feelings. My kids all really feel comfortable with her & her staff! That’s very important to me! They are part of the family!!
We have taken our twins here since birth and never want to leave! Always get in for a sick appointment same day, never experience long waits, and the wonderful staff always remember the girls and make us feel welcome! Love the small office feel and love the people!
They are awful the staff is rude! They care only about getting money and could care less about their patients. The office staff and Doctors clearly do not communicate. I was told by a doctor you dont need an appointment to come get a second round of shots only to find out they scheduled one and then get a bill for a missed appointment I call thinking they'd be understanding but instead theyre rude and unwilling to fix the situation. Out of all the doctors offices my children have had this doctor office is by far the most amazing helpful and kind people I have ever experience with children. I love how they connect with the children and the parents at the same time the nurses are the best. Even though we don't live in Edmond anymore I will always take my children out there.
Bad experience with the staff, never saw the Doctor. All they care about is getting more money out of your insurance and you rather than doing what is best for your child. Long story short, after coming in for a complaint about stomach issues, the office said they couldn't grant us a referral to a GI unless we came in for a wellness visit. Nor could they consider the complaint visit as a wellness visit.
