From experience, it's the best salon in the country! – I was formerly a client of a salon in Round Rock before becoming a client of Cirstan at Scarlet Red. Unfortunately, I moved from Texas to the east coast a little less than 2 years ago and have since had to try many new salons to find anything half as good as Scarlet Red. It is impossible. Fabulous Place!!! – It is disturbing to read the malicious reviews on this site. Scarlet Red is a beautiful and clean salon. I've been getting my hair cut there every six weeks for quite a while. Last month I got my first tattoo from one of the artists. Clearly, there are some angry folks who are trying to cause trouble for this salon. Please don't listen to them. Go into the shop and see for yourself. This is too bad, because I want to be able to trust Citysearch.
False reviews, this is a great place – I've been here several times and have gotten a great cut along with highlights/lowlights. It's definately a contemporary salon, if you're looking for a $16 cut with lots of teasing and hairspray, this probably isn't the shop for you. Shocked! – I made an appointment at another shop to get my tattoo however I wanted it that day and they were already booked for the day so I stopped in at this shop to get a qoute and see if the had any openings, the guy that attempted to help me was no help at all he could not give me a price and would not look at me while talking to me, he seemed very weird! Never Open – I have tried to go get a piercing after I get off work which is at 8pm on 3 different occasions, to times they were closed early acording to the hours posted and on the 3rd time the piercer was not in, the guy that was there was rude and could not tell me when the piercer would be back I felt like I was bothering him by being there.
I have the upmost respect for Scarlet Red!! – I am going to be moving to Georgetown in about a year with my fiance and was needing to find a new place to get body art and my hair done. We are licensed with the City of G-town, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations and with the Texas Department of State and Health Services.
