After visiting Newport for over 25 years we finally tried Scales. Why didn't we do this sooner! The food was awesome. Some of the best fish I have ever eaten. No need for fancy sauces and marinade. The wood fired taste was Great! Luckily my wife was full and I got to eat eat the rest of her tuna. That was also awesome. Good wines. Our waitress was awesome. Best meal of our week long stay , and that's saying alot in Newport!
The service was great! The food was good. A little over done fra divalo. I would defiantly recommend doing the fish wood fired your way. Oyster selection great too!
It's our first stop during our week in Newport. We love it so much we go 2 times that week.
