Our experience was probably an anomoly. We ordered an appitizer (fried cod cakes) that came out frozen in the center. They made us a new ap and the same thing happened again. Otherwise our meals were good. The signature sailor rum cocktail was definitely worth trying.
The best linguini and white clam sauce I have ever had in my life!!! The raw bar was exceptional as was the service! Great restaurant!!!!!
Very happy we stayed on this side of town for the seafood festival. One of the best restaurants We've ever eaten in.
Let's put it this way. I had the mesquite grilled lobster there twenty years ago and I STILL remember it. Ten years later a friend and I drove 2 hours from Boston to go eat there again. It was SO worth it. In fact every time I think of it my mouth waters and I feel sad that I live so far away. I recently recommended it to friends who were going to Newport. They came back raving about it. I am so glad they are still there and going strong. I need to get back there again. #bestgrilledlobsterever
