Dr. Skandan is part of my medical team. She's my medical oncologist and she's very calm, kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I really like her thus far.

She brings exceptional knowledge and expertise to every appointment, but what truly sets her apart is the compassion and attentiveness she shows her patients. My mother and I always feel heard, respected, and supported—our concerns are never dismissed, and our questions are always met with thoughtful, clear answers. Dr. Skandan has been my mother's medical oncologist for 3 years now. She is an amazing doctor with vast knowledge and expertise who exemplifies great care and compassion towards her patients. I was quite surprised with all the good press here and hate to throw a wrench on the pile but here it goes. I was looking for a physician that would work with me as a team since I was new to the area. I saw this physician 3 times; 2 of which I asked her to contact my previous physician who specializes in my case and she did not. When I asked at the last meeting, she spoke over me and spoke/looked down at me in front of her student resident.
