My friends and I went to Savannah in July 2015 and it was magnificent!! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Hi! I came to SAV for the marathon this weekend. I would have enjoyed the city a lot more if the poor management of the marathon didn't completely ruin the experience. I'd love to consider running a race there again, but not if the race is managed by Competitor or is part of the Rock and Roll series. Perhaps you can see how Philadelphia runs theirs as a good example of a city-run marathon. The city gets 4 or 5 stars, but my overall experience gets 2.
A beautiful city filled with historic charm & lore. Plenty to do and see, including for those with interests of the supernatural type. ;) Looking forward to future visits!
Absolutely beautiful, we lived there for 3 1/2 years and there was never a dull moment. Best experience ever.
Savannah is one of those places that always draws me back! The vintage charm, history, and deep-south vibe continues to call me time and again! If Savannah is not on your bucket list, it should be!
