I have always enjoyed Saullos, until today. I went in and asked if we could be seated, arrived a few minutes before lunch service was to end and was told yes. (Would have been more than ok if they would have said no) so we were seated and menus given to us. A few minutes later I hear "are you kidding me, dont they know we close soon"....... A lady approaches and asks us to leave....now mind you I asked before I was seated if we could be served and they said yes. I told her I had asked and she said she was sorry and asked us ... read more
My boyfriend and I LOVE the cheese bread and whatever is in that marinara sauce - I could eat that with everything! The pizza is always hot and the crust is crispy which is how I like my pizza. Highly recommend!

My parents were taking me here as a child, so I can safely say I've been eating at Saullos for over 40 years, since they had the little building in old St. Charles. I know it switched hands probably 20 years ago (guess), but as far as I know, the same recipes and it's been excellent from the 1st day I can remember still to this day. It's still my favorite pizza of all time!
