We asked our hotel front desk about a good place for breakfast. They suggested Saturday Morning Cafe. So glad they did. The food was excellent and the employees were very polite. Next time we are in Baltimore, we will be back.
I ordered the Seafood Eggs Benedict, and it did not disappointed! The food was delicious; probably the best order of grits I've had in my life. Atmosphere is like an inner-city, 1970's style diner. Great staff, but the prices were a little higher than I was expecting. My breakfast alone cost $25 with tip.
Friendly staff, seated us immediately. Food was good hearty breakfast food. A nice break from the chains and the crowds. Will definitely go there again.
I went here yesterday morning for takeout and was utterly unimpressed. My eggs were burned and rubbery, the potatoes were greasy and had no flavor, and the bacon was clustered in one big mass. In the end, the food was edible but far from enjoyable. I was excited about this place, but am absolutely disappointed. I will not be coming back.
