We opened in February of 2011 and we have been smoking meats ever since! Meet the Business Owner Hugh J. Business Owner What's there to say? I grew up in Alabama and decided to bring southern BBQ to good people of Washtenaw County.

The fried corn with bacon was a hit for me. Husband and son really liked that kielbasa, hubby also liked the vinegar coleslaw. My ribs were definitely beyond charred and the tips were very dry, but were otherwise good.
The food was great! I will be returning when I go see my son at U of M!
I can't tell you in "50 characters" how good this BBQ is. I can tell you my mouth waters now when I'm standing in line. I can also tell you that my fiancées family is southern, and they give it 5 stars also! Amazing food!!
The best in town and the nicest people too! I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for bbq.

Just driving through, I saw the sign and smoke. Very good brisket sandwich,corn n bacon, Mac n cheese I'm stuffed ;)
Red beans and rice best ever had, the kids who work there are great, happy, helpful... I hope more people find it, we've been there two Sundays in a row
