New stylist from NYC is a gem!!! – Clint Wilson, the newest addition to Atlanta's Vidal Sassoon salon, is a New York City treasure. He has been cutting my hair for three years, and when I heard the news that he was leaving Manhattan, I actually cried! As a former staffer at Allure magazine (and the person who wrote a rave review of Clint in Allure's pages), I am an expert on haircuts, and have been to all of New York's top stylists. But Clint is simply the best. The long line of models, beauty editors, and socialites who tru... read more
A cut above the rest!! – I have to say I was really in shock to come across the reviews on here about Clint from Vidal Sassoon. I live in South Carolina and found Clint in the beauty section of Allure magazine raving about his talent. I have since then never let anyone touch my hair and book all my trips to NYC around him doing my hair, actually my whole family and friends all go to NYC just to have him style there hair. His energy and talent bring a fun experince to the whole visit to Vidal Sassoon. I am looking forward to ... read more
Best professional hair salon in Atlanta – I don't normally write reviews, but I just read a bad review of Vidal Sassoon and felt it was unfair and had to try to rectify the situation. They just had a visiting stylist who was a nightmare (he's gone now) and gave more than one bad cut - I met him once and he was crazy. I've been going to this salon for three years now and absolutely love it. They are fun and professional, and know and love hair like no one else - it's like they have PhDs in hair (they have separate departments... read more
Won't be going back! – Going from my absolute favorite hair stylist in the whole world ever at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco, Calif. to a sub-par hair stylist at the Vidal Sassoon in Atlanta (Buckhead) was a super, expensive disappointment. Certainly not the worst I've ever had but I do NOT like it at all. It looks chopped, too short in parts, too long in parts. I paid $95 for this??? Over the phone I chose the Creative Director (at $20 more than S.F. even!), who was newly transferred from New York, as I was hoping he'd be ... read more
Pricey, but Good – I only started going to Vidal Sassoon because it was easily accessible via Marta when my car was being serviced. However, my experiece was great and I always got professional, classy cuts and relaxers and always walked out of the door smiling. The stylists know how to translate your vision and ideas into a great cut. Ask for Roya!
For something like a model, – you have to try Vidal Sassoon. At first I sneered because it was located in the mall; however, I decided to give it a try. I was thoroughly satisfied with my haircut. They typically use flat irons on the hair, giving it that picture-perfect look. Their prices are higher than other salons, but I think the cuts are more involved. You can choose your level of stylist/colorist too and therefore, how much you'd like to spend, but all of the stylists are great, no matter what level they are. Appointme... read more
