The dental work was fine - routine cleaning. But I don't care to be lectured for 20 minutes before, and during, and after, the work. Yes, I do not brush as often as I should. I know this. I am 62 years old and do not care to be lectured endlessly about it. A simple statement of the risks and benefits is more than sufficient. **A** statement. Not a lecture.
No one enjoys a trip to the dentist, but the staff at Dr. Patels office makes the visit a pleasureable one. Extremely professional experience puts your mind at ease.
I've been going to Pomerado Family Dental (Dr. Patel's office) for over 10 years. In that time I've had everything from basic checkups to crowns replaced. It's always been a positive experience, and I now drive across town (as I've moved in the past 10 years) to keep coming to his office. Yeah, he's THAT good! :)

Always a pleasure to receive my dental care at Pomerado Family Dental. Lupita is a fabulous hygienist. Dr. Patel and his team are wonderful. I live in Point Loma, so Poway is quite the commute, but it is so worth it! Keep up the good work!!
Dr. Patel and his staff were all very friendly and professional. They made my 88 year old father feel comfortable during his cleaning and x rays. We look forward to our next visit!
